Backward compatibility issues

Hello,

I have a Toshiba Thrive android tablet from 2012, which has OS 3.2. It's obviously not compatible with iRealpro. I have the older version of iRealb on it which works fine. My problem is when someone who has iReal pro shares a chart with me. It won't open in iRealb. According to Toshiba, they will be releasing "Ice Cream Sandwich" OS 4 for Android at some point. Until they do, is there a way around this issue? It's really inconveniencing me.
