All The Things You Are - Jerome Kern

All The Things You Are (w/ intro & ending)

Maybe one of the most frequently played song including amateurs, with de facto standard intro and outro.

Tiny correction: put the 2nd repeat mark)

All The Things You Are (in-out) - Jerome Kern

Trying to add 8 bar ending...page seems to be out of available bars

Hi - I am trying to add an 8-bar ending to a 32 bar song. I already created an 8-bar intro. Now, as I created an ending using the coda sign, it seems I can only view/create a 4-bar ending. Its as if I were out of available bars. Using the "Next" button, it will not allow me to go past the first 4 bars of the ending...it won't go to a new line. The chart is attached. Thanks!!

Trying to attach chart in HTML format, but it will upload.

Hi, I was trying to attach the chart, but Bob, you closed the thread. Ireal Pro will not allow the HTML as an attachment, so I uploaded a screen shot.

Still, my main problem of running out of bars is unsolved. I will really appreciate your help!

Oops, ....fat fingers.

Open chart>share>share chart>FOURMS>go to forums/thread>reply>paste

I see the issue. The song form is NOT 32 bars, it's 36 bars... (9 systems)
Several work-arounds, you can condense some bars...the Intro, for example
or you can experiment with this:
https://forums.irealpro.com/threads/How-to-add-a-13th-line-(system)-to-a-chord-chart.8449/
I'd highlight/cut the first line of the D-section.
Write the last line of the coda at the bottom.
Set the cursor in the first space of (what was originally) the 2nd line of the D-section, paste to add the previously cut/saved 1st line back where it belongs.
Done.
Also read this about using the coda symbol:

Thanks, Bob. Can I condense the 8-bar intro into one system? How?[/QUOTE

I condensed your Intro by deleting some spaces.
I also moved your incorrectly positioned "jump-from" coda sign.

All The Things You Are 1 3 - Jerome Kern

now there's room to finish your coda
Post the chart with your completed coda and we'll try the 13th system trick.
