Can I use iRig Blueboard pedal to control iReal pro?

I'd like to use a Bluetooth pedal such as the iRig Blueboard to control iReal Pro. Start/stop the music, mark beginning and end points for loops, etc. is this possible?

iOS iReal pro supports AirTurn pedals (and bluetooth keyboard's up,down,left,right cursor keys) for player start&stop and page forward&back.

That's the only external control option I know about.
Not familiar with the iRig Blueboard.

Are there any plans ( or current workarounds ) to make iReal Pro work with the iRig Blueboard pedal. It would be really useful, thank you!
