The ability to import and use PDF charts would be a great addition IMO.

    variations, fills and endings....

Ahhhh...sorry I am using my PC (Chrome) for viewing the forum, not the android device. That could explain it.

    variations, fills and endings....

Thanks Bob, but again, I click the link and all I get is a new tab with a blank page??? with this as the target...

    variations, fills and endings....

Thanks Bob a dflat - however that thread and this one makes no mention of endings. Does the || also enable a user to create an ending at any point on the chart? And can a user created chart (not from a fakebook or elsewhere) also be affected the same way? IE can a user add these drum patterns to...

    variations, fills and endings....

Thx Bob, but I think you may have to explain whatever it was on the link (at the linked page) when I click it all I get is a re-direct to a blank page. Can you explain what this "double bar ending" actually means please?

    variations, fills and endings....

I am looking at re-installing iRealPro, but one of the reasons I never used it was the drum patterns are all one trick ponys...IE there is only one beat used for a song. No variations, fills endings etc etc...is the new version any better in this area or is it the same? Thanks

    Transmit MIDI?

Actually no m8, have not looked at or tried Symphonix . I might have a look at it though - even though I don't have an ipad (as I said traded it for an android) I still have all the midi bits a pieces and cables etc... The only probs I found were using the device as both a chart reader AND for...

    Transmit MIDI?

Yeah I already have all that data dflat - (midi files with patch data etc) I mean...I even had Unrealbook (on iPad) transmitting a setup message to my synth to load preset banks!! BUt wiht no "midi clocking" actually playing a full midi files was a no go. The setup files were simply CC's and...

    Transmit MIDI?

Now that Android has USB Midi compliant support (if the tablet has a host USB port - as the Iconia A200 does) is it possible for iReal Book to transmit the midi data it generates to an external sound module? I know from personal experience that the Edirol UM1-SX for example, is "class...

    Midi

Hi, Thanks for your reply, and I am glad you think this is a valid "wish-list" request for iReal Book :) The only other thing, in my view, that would improve iRealbook would be the capability to load and read PDF charts. I have handwritten charts for example, that I have scanned, and if...

    Midi

Further, I bought the Line 6 device, in the (now) mistaken view, that I could hook up it up to MIDI on the keyboard, and the apps available for iPad would automatically see it as a hardware device and transmit from it. How wrong I was!!!!! There are very limited apps that actually work with...

    Midi

Thanks. The issue with the Line 6 Mobiliser app is it has no way of importing a bulk list of midi files. The ONLY way to get your library of midis onto the iPad is by playing each and every one individually. Yes, it can be done, but what a waste of time!!!! You see, how I work, is I have...

    Midi

is there any chance of being able to load in user midi files and have them play to an external module via the Apple camera USB kit? I have an edirol UM 1 interface which does work with the Line 6 Midi Mobiliser, but I think the Apple way would be easier as the midi API is already in iOS 4.2 Dennis
