    Sidewinder - Lee Morgan

Here's my take, it's not as tidy, but (for me) it's easier to read on my iTouch. :))BOB Sidewinder (player version) 1 by Lee Morgan

    little idea about melody lines

Irb was designed as an electronic version of "Pocket Changes". It has evolved to include a wonderful player feature. With the added real estate available on the iPad, I'm confident evolution will continue. I can imagine a separate stand- alone app for lyrics-sharing as well as another app for...

    A Wink And A Smile - Shaiman-McLean

Long or complex forms sometimes require more than 32-36 bars available in a palm-size device and exceed the limit of just ONE DS OR DC instruction per song. The player still allows me to practice every part of a tune if not the "correct" form on a few. :))BOB

    A Wink And A Smile - Shaiman-McLean

I changed the opening bar-line of the intro from a single to a double. Likewise for the Intro's closing bar-line. I think it may matter to the player if you use left side or right side double bars (opening/closing) The song still crashed the app after my edits. I removed the G+ chord at the...

    Augmented fifth?

    If it's just an augmented 5th, I'd use a *+*. ie. C+. For more complex qualities, I'd include #5. ie. C7#5. :))BOB

    Sending playlists as text files

I tried to post a 50 tune playlist to the forum as a private message to myself. I thought might be able to copy/paste that "list" on my computer. No joy. The message was too big for a private message. I don't know if posting your playlist to the public forum instead might work for you. :))BOB

Harpster, you are most welcome! With irb you can tweak charts however it suits you. I feel that the charts are just a suggested road map of 'a' way to go. When I try to add too much information to small format irb charts, it makes them less readable for my purpose. As a bassist, I'm less...

    Gypsy Jazz

Happy Birthday Django! Today marks Django Reinhardt's 100th birthday. His playing has had a profound and lasting influence on the music we enjoy today. Les Paul, Chet Atkins, Eric Clapton and other greats all credit Django as significant in their growth as players. Here's an interesting...

I guess that's why there's more than *one* band. In Portland, we enjoy playing it in Gm and prolonging the V#. irb makes it easy to tweak tunes however you like. :))BOB
