I searched for Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight with and without quotes. In both cases, the James Taylor song was at the top of the search. Is this not the song you are looking for? Searching with quotes decreased the number of results to 6, all of them showing the James Taylor song. I'm not sure...

Lullaby Of The Leaves - Bernice Petkere

These reflect Erroll Garner's changes (though not his trademark slooowww tempo). Lullaby Of The Leaves (C-) - Bernice Petkere

I Only Have Eyes For you - Harry Warren

I Only Have Eyes For You (a la The Flamingos) Approximating the classic doo-wop version by The Flamingos (posted here, rather than in Pop, to facilitate searches). Charted to play once-through only, and I recommend the Mixer's "Piano & Srings" setting for a more dreamy effect. I Only Have...

When You Wish Upon A Star - Leigh Harline

I've always heard this in my head as a jazz waltz. Since I didn't find any versions in 3/4 here in the Forum: When You Wish Upon A Star (Bb Waltz) - Leigh Harline-Ned Washington I've altered a couple of bridge changes (also heard in my head) and added an outro.

Lady In Red - Chris de Burgh

Truer to the original arrangement and voicings: Lady In Red (Bb) - Chris de Burgh Got requests for this over the Valentine weekend, so I made a chart to be better prepared for next year. ;)

    Rhythm notation

It has nothing to do with Yosemite. Many symbols were disabled on the current versions of iRP because they might interfere with the file code. I, too, would like the ability to use these and other symbols restored.

Carolina In The Morning - W. Donaldson

I also try to play what was popular when they were in high school & college. (Sadly, as time progresses, that list is starting to include pop music I don't really care for. With any luck I'll be dead by the time they want disco and rap.) But fun "specialty" tunes like Carolina usually go over...

Carolina In The Morning - W. Donaldson

Thanks for the chart, and the background info. I play a lot of retirement homes and this little ditty is always a crowd pleaser! Here's the file I've been using - with a more old-fashion feel (Trad Jazz at 120) and an outro that quotes: "Way down upon the Swanee River in the mo-o-o-orning." If I...

Style to play old fashioned tunes in "two?"

Here's another work-around. Takes some time and looks clunky, but there have been occasions when I've found it useful. These are the first 8 bars from your chart: Stop Time - Example

Style to play old fashioned tunes in "two?"

Try "Jazz - Gypsy Jazz" in 2/4 with the Tempo set for half of the speed you'd play it in 4/4. It's the least-jazzy setting I've found for old-timey tunes, patriotic songs, etc.

    O Cantador (Like A Lover) - Dori Caymmi-Nelson Motta

O Cantador (C) - Caymmi-Motta Unlike the AABA Americanized version, the form here is ABA to accommodate the original Brazilian lyrics. Chord changes are not specific to any one arrangement, but two influences are: Dori Caymmi & Toots Thielemans (The Brasil Project 1992)...

Across The Alley From The Alamo - Joe Greene

Thanks for your reply, Bob. Unfortunately, that error still has not been corrected in the Jazz 1300 Standards list. Here's the chart I made for myself (Major7s similarly expunged) with a more Western Swing feel, and a Mills Brothers' style outro. Across The Alley From The Alamo (F) - Joe Greene

    Downloading older version

Just so you know: Running iRP 6.3 on iMac OSX 10.7.5. When I booted up this morning, iRP (and one other app so far) prompted me to "reinstall" from the AppStore because it was "purchased from another device" (which it wasn't). Logged in with my AppleID and the app was instantly restored - didn't...

Suggestions for buying an Andriod tablet

I consider myself a "Mac guy" too. But even if the Apple Fairy left an iPad Pro under my pillow, a second tablet is extremely convenient for reading lyrics or fakebook PDFs without having to switch apps back and forth while iRP is running. If you'll be doing that a lot, you might still consider...

    More Combination Styles

I request a combination of Swing Brushes/Sticks for "cool jazz" style tunes where you want a little extra oomph during the solos.

Suggestions for buying an Andriod tablet

Dflat's response is quite thorough. I would add this caveat regarding screens: Most cheaper tablets will have a "TN" (twisted nematic) display, which gives high brightness while using less battery, but has a limited viewing angle. My first tablet purchase was TN and, when I move to the left or...

Secret Love - Sammy Fain-Paul Francis

I never noticed that entry in the 1300. There is a work by Roger Vogel called "My Secret Love" which is completely different, but the chord changes on the iRP chart are for Sammy Fain's composition.
