Although Duke Ellington is sometimes credited as co-composer of this tune, Strayhorn actually wrote it in Harlem while Ellington was in Euope in 1939.
This is my reharm of it. Some changes are based on those in Sher's New Real Book Three.

The composer actually was trumpet player Cal Massey, who by the end of his career was playing avant-garde music with Archie Shepp.

In the turnback from the B section the tritone sub sounds nice, but unfortunately it conflicts with the pickup note, which in your key (C major) is C natural against Db9.
Might I suggest Dbmaj7? Or G7sus?
