Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most - Tommy Wolf

Jerry, I just discovered your 90 Revised Standards Playlist you posted in Sandbox. Wow. Thank you. Jack

Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most - Tommy Wolf

Yes, Bob, it's much cleaner now. I don't know why I thought I had to use that strange work around; it's clearly not needed. Jerry, maybe on your equipment the added dot doesn't do anything, I dunno. But on my iPhone 5 it allows your lone bass notes (like "/Bb") to sound by themselves on...

Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most - Tommy Wolf

Hey, Bob, I could have sworn I tried that ending arrangement and that it wouldn't work right on my equipment, but I really must not have tried it because your correction is working for me now. Much better, thanks! Jack

Over The Rainbow (Somewhere) - Harold Arlen

    You scored again, Jerry. Thanks.

Jerry, what you did with "Spring" was great. How about more of your treatments to other ballads?

Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most - Tommy Wolf

Jerry, thanks for this! I love what you did here. It was one of my favorite ballads, but I like your treatment even better. I generally try to avoid using global repeats in iReal Pro except on practice charts. On performance charts, I like to see the whole arrangement in front of me. Just a...

We can no longer copy and paste sharp and flat symbols into text, right?

When I try it like I used to, the text I put a sharp or flat symbol into appears empty.

    Chords on upbeats and anticipations

It appears that at least the sharp and flat characters no longer work in Text. Not on my iPhone 5 anyway. I see nothing in any Text in which they are included.

    Film Music

The period in there allows the bass note to play without the chord player's chord also playing. I use it sometimes for a "boom-cha, boom-cha"-type Intro, as in "Ballad of Davey Crockett" and "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." You do have to tap "OK" to get rid of the initial error message...

    Editor silently truncates songs

I routinely use the Player with 13 lines (systems) created in iRP's Editor, but 14 lines don't work for me.

Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone -Bill Withers

"Ain't No Sunshine" (w/ all 26 "I knows") This is a slow, Gypsy-Jazz-beat version of "Ain't No Sunshine" that accomodates all 26 "I knows." I have a lot of fun with this one. It goes through twice with a one-verse instrumental in between. Ain't No Sunshine (w/ "I knows") - Bill Withers A-...

Foot Hi-hat option for 2 and 4 click

Yeah, I think that click is just the sticks clicking together, right? Plenty good enough for practice, which is pretty much all I do anymore. But I certainly see your point regarding more performance-oriented use.

Foot Hi-hat option for 2 and 4 click

And now, in the latest version of iRp, Drums gives us the 2-4 option, yes?

Worth a laugh, maybe . . . (Fun with iRp editor)

Thanks for that, Keith. Extraordinarily beautiful and engaging. If you play like him, . . . I wanna hear you, too. Harry Pickens is a huge favorite of mine. You might search youtube for: harry pickens nearness of you. This was done way back when Harry had hair. Check out the size of his hands...

    Scrolling in Landscape Mode

Many thanks to the Scrollmaster who fixed the scrolling function in landscape mode so the Playback Position Highlight (PPH) remains visible throughout the tune, even on 13-line tunes. Big improvement! NOW, if you could figure out a way to coordinate the scrolling so the PPH isn't cruising along...

Creating charts using the Number System

Thanks, Bob. Using a Search, I found where a few months back someone congratulated the team on moving it there. . . . It was me. 😚

Ha! Good question, Bob. And I have absolutely no answer. No defense, either. ;-]
