My Edit function doesn't work, so I'm just appending the edit here. According to the album Concierto, "The Answer Is Yes" was written by Jane Hall, not Jim Hall.

This is a version that uses 2/4 stop time on part of the head and 4/4 walking bass on the solos. I had to use a number of workarounds to make it fit, so it's a playing chart, not a particularly visual one. Answer Is Yes, The-Rev JE - Jane Hall Cheers, Jer

It looks to me as if the second chord going into the second ending should be G7, not C7.

23dbaum, Thanks for the chart. It says "Medium Swing," but your style is "Pop-Smooth." These should be the same. I would check the chord qualities for consistency. On line one Db is a triad and Eb7 is dominant. On line three Db7 is dominant and Eb is a triad. Shouldn't both lines match...

You can change the time, say 4/4 to 3/4, etc. And you can change the harmonic rhythm by spacing the chords differently. But the pulse will always be the same.
