I still use that intro except with chords.

On a TV show some years ago, Herbie, Jobim and company played the four bars before the bridge like this: AMaj7 - G13+11 - FMaj7 - E7+9. Made it more interesting than playing the first four bars of the bridge twice.

Thanks Bob. I didn't know that the 3x and repeat sign at the last bar of B would do that.

Bob, how can I get the B section to play more than once for soloing? As it is now B will only play once before going back to the head no matter what I enter into the number of choruses.

The chart I posted is for the solos only. A-B-C is one complete chorus (the head). B is the bridge. I'll post the whole chart soon.

Flamenco Sketches - Miles Davis/Bill Evans-Ki d of Blue Here's version from Kind of Blue. Chords are basic. Evans alters at whim. Sometimes chords are doubled for a chorus.

The correct chords depends on whose version you listen to. Bill Evans plays an Ab7 for the first bar of the B section, Red Garland plays Fm7 - F#dim.

You can buy Band-In-A-Box for $300 - $500. It has those properties that you want. iRealPro is a great bargain for the price. I can put up with the touch-tapping because of that.
