“Evenin” is this song sung by Julie London. I believe it was written by Ronald E. McVey [nope] I also think that T-bone Walker may have sung this song but spelled it “Evening.” I appreciate any assistance in locating this music!

I don’t know what Julie London did with the tune, but to my mind, Jimmy Rushing singing with the Basie Orchestra in 1936 is the gold standard for the song.
