    Jean Pierre - Miles Davis

Yes, exactly -- one chord. Does iReal Pro have a groove that's any good, for that tune? I can't find any, from the stock grooves -- certainly none of the Jazz, and the Pop funk grooves sound pretty cheesy. Are any of the extra-cost patterns any better? I don't mind shelling out a few bucks...

    Jean Pierre - Miles Davis

    It's actually in A, not B-flat! Check Miles's fingering -- C# and A are fingered with 2nd valve, and F# is 2-3 valves.

    Bluesette - Toots Thielemans

Thanks for posting -- nice thorough chart, with the intro/outtro and all!

    Kind Folk - Kenny Wheeler

Interestingly, my changes are slightly different from the two posted above. I got mine from a PDF found on... Scribd, I think -- very few of Kenny's tunes are published. It is typeset, but there's no indication of a publisher, so provenance is unknown.

    Kind Folk - Kenny Wheeler

Oh, sorry -- not sure why I didn't find it before... probably because it's not on the 1300 Standards playlist, and my brain naturally assumed that every jazz tune known to man was on that, so if it wasn't, then no one had shared it yet! #n00b

    Kind Folk - Kenny Wheeler

Kind Folk - Kenny Wheeler I hope this looks OK -- I'm pretty new to iReal Pro, but this does play correctly from here, so I figured why not share it....

    Sad Walk - Bob Zieff

Sad Walk - Bob Zieff This is the arrangement direct from Bob -- in a few places, I added a little color, where the chart Bob sent had a straight Ab major chord, but these should be the "correct" changes as played on the 1955 Chet Baker recording and also the one by Dick Wetmore. Here's a video...

    Sad Walk - Bob Zieff

Bob Z sent me the chart for this tune. It is written exactly as played on the 1955 Chet Baker recording with Dick Twardzik: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHW_WqXatMk Bob says that the pizz and arco bass parts are important -- it's not just a "melody over changes" tune, as with most of his...

    Sad Walk - Bob Zieff

Just ran across this thread. It happens that Bob Z is an old friend (very old -- he must be well into his 80s by now, but still has a weekly jazz show on Dickinson College radio), and I'm planning on visiting him and his wife this summer. I'll ask him for the changes!
