I did follow the directions to certify and that worked fine until December. A new release of Ireal Pro was installed and the app no longer works and has not worked in Waydroid since that time. I just tried the most recent release and still no joy.
In case anyone is watching this thread: Last night an update for Waydroid was installed on my Ubuntu system. A new version (December 2025) of Ireal Pro also became available. I installed the new version to no avail. The app still refuses to start leaving the splash screen displaying permanently.
After a few starts and stops, the Play Store settings now say that the device is not play certified. However, Ireal Pro still starts and works although still not smoothly. So, why does Genymotion work and not Waydroid? Good question.
OK. I followed your instructions and was able to get Ireal Pro running although it is probably too stilted to play with.
So, now the question is why does it run under Genymotion and not Waydroid. Looking in the settings, the Play Store does not complain about the environment certification...
