Miss the Mississippi and You - Bill Halley

USE THIS VERSION OK, the timing still needs some work but I have the chords and their duration a bit better and the AABA form is clearer, with an intro: Miss The Mississippi And You (MunIsteri) - Bill Halley

Miss the Mississippi and You - Bill Halley

I came across a lovely 30s jazz feel version on YouTube with Romain Vuillemin and Matt Munisteri and this is sort of that, though by all means post edits. I've not used repeats simply to make it easier for me to fit to words. This is the YT link https://youtu.be/3eM-l-sMpos?si=LkgICWKSsduXVxiX...

    Ragtime Cowboy Joe

I'm not sure at all that this is the right section of the forum to put this song. It's obviously a bit of a country classic but there is a great version by Mason Stopes and Adam Levy on Youtube you should listen to. Ragtime Cowboy Joe - Lewis F Muir, Grant Clarke and Maurice Abrahams

how can you force a line break?

I notice there's now a newline button next to the note window, I think that's right, on the osX version anyway. It simply writes \\ as text. However, it doesn't seem to do anything, I've tried putting it at the start of the bar I want on the next line and at the end of the bar prior to that but...

Grateful Dead - Jerry Garcia songs

Russian Lullaby, Old Rockin' Chair While I'm posting to the Jerry Garcia thread I might as well continue with a couple more. The first is Russian Lullaby, which works quite well: Russian Lullaby - Irving Berlin Then there's Rocking Chair, which I love, especially the live takes with David...

Someone To Watch Over Me - George Gershwin

It's a version someone inspired by Julian Lage and Chris Eldridge (search on YouTube there are at least 3 versions, each different, each wonderful). Hope you enjoy: Someone To Watch Over Me v2 (rob) - George Gershwin

    Jazz Practice Exercises

Jazz blues (another one) 14114 #4 13.6251.625 All these are variations on a theme and this particular one came, in part, from an online tutorial from Jamie Holroyd, though altered. If it helps, in number notation, it's a 14114 #4 13.6251.625(b7.7) Except I didn't have room to put the last 7...

Where is style Pop - Rock 12/8 in editor

I've a song for which the style Pop - Rock 12/8 works well. However, I only seem able to choose that style from the player view. If I'm editing the song there is no style Rock 12/8, in fact there is often a mis-match between the styles in the player and the list in the editor, why is that...

Dancing In The Street - Gaye-Stevenson-Hunter

Actually, that version isn't quite right on a few counts, it downloads as bluegrass, an intriguing notion, but not exactly faithful to Martha and the Vs interpretation. Then there are only 14 bars after the intro and before the IV chord for "music, sweet music". Oh and I think it's more like...
