Started playing guitar in 1977. First guitar, Fender Mustang. Worked on songwriting and recording for most of the 1980s, also put out an EP (12" vinyl) with Lapjaw. Finished off my college degree (waste of money/time), then started a live karaoke band called The Street Karaoke Project (some recordings are up on youtube). This was my first successful enterprise playing music for cash, and it was quite nice after twenty years of getting nothing. The Bush years were tough; a low point. I had started to work on jazz, and even got to jam regularly with a member of Electric Flag (Mark Doubleday) who taught me quite a bit about the blues. In 2015 I got interested in video production, so I learned how to use Audacity and iMovie 11 to make my own music videos. Presently I'm working with some imagination exercises from Jon Rappoport so that I can get back into the songwriting game and perhaps go professional.
