    Changing Time Signature

Thanks for the quick response. I was thinking the cursor needed to be on the time signature to be able to change it.

    Changing Time Signature

Can you provide the process (IOS) for changing the time signature at the start of the song? I cannot highlight it to change it. The first highlighted chord/symbol is the first chord of the song.

    Entering partially diminished symbol

I should have thought of that! However, the brief tutorial leaves out a lot. I know there is extensive information in various places on the iReal Pro site, but greater detail and a "how-to" presentation format all in one comprehensive document would be more helpful to me personally - but...

    Entering partially diminished symbol

Bob, Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I haven't edited in a while, so am not familiar with the new, explanded editing features -very different from the earlier screens. Is there a detailed tutorial available that illustrates the features (and how to use them) of the latest editing...

    Diminished and half-diminished symbols?

The "o" works for diminished, but how do you enter a half-diminished symbol from the (Android or IOS) keyboard?

    Instruments in styles

Thanks, Niki. I just found those choices yesterday - even though I've been using iReal Pro for a long time. Just haven't kept up with the updates since my original settings have served me well! Still, if you can't create a "Silence" choice for an instrument, please consider my other thread...

Attach drum/bass/other volume levels to the song

A very easy alternative would be to simply have silence as one of the (sticky) accompanying instruments - for both the bass and the treble. That should be easy to do and would keep me from having to silence an instrument from one song to the next.

Why is tempo linked to selection of styles?

I actually put the tempo in with the title to accomplish the same thing....

    Instruments in styles

Currently, you can only have a guitar with the guitar trio "style". If it were one of the instruments (along with organ, piano, vibraphone, etc.) then it could be used with any style. I suspect that may not be a simple process, but you've certainly made other substantial improvements in the 4...

Why is tempo linked to selection of styles?

The point is, when I change the style on a song, I don't usually want the tempo to change. If the two were un-linked, it would make changing styles easier...

Why is tempo linked to selection of styles?

When I change backgound styles on a song, iRealPro changes the song':)s tempo to your default tempo for that style. I would like to be able to change the style and still keep the same tempo without having to re-enter it every time I want to change styles.

Attach drum/bass/other volume levels to the song

You should enable us to set the volume levels for each instrument for each song. For some songs I want a lower drum or bass (or other instrument) volume and for others a greater volume. As it is, once volume is set for the 3 instruments, that holds true for all song. It doesn't seem like a...

Use iPad edited playlists on Android device

Discovered my own answer. The backup e-mail message produced from my iPad says the playlists/charts can be imported into an Android device as well as the Apple systems. So, that tells me there is no re-formatting or re-processing involved.
