    Musical scales - chord scales

    It helps to know the formula for constructing scales, then you can make the scale for any chord. Each harmony (Maj, min, dim,etc) has its own formula. Start with major: the steps are W-W-H-W-W-W-H where W is a whole time and H is a half. See if that helps at then you can move on to other scales

    Chord type request

    Allowing the user to input the exact notes and order of voicing would resolve that issue of custom chords. And allow the user to name the harmony what ever they want. You could have Xdem7 meaning X demolished 7th and put in any notes you want.
