Reggae unlike Jazz is based on Bass and Drum. Soloing to the same D&B is pointless.

The ability to create and name our own guitar chord library would be a massive improvement.

Are the guitar chords based on the Rock/CAGED system? What I call a Dominant with 3rd in the bass for example comes out looking like a Rock Guitarist chord.
