I did a few GJ songs with IReal accompaniment on my solo gig last night. I’m glad someone transcribed all the Robin Nolan Gig Book selections into IReal, since that’s where I learned most of them.

Clair de Lune (Kosma)
Dark Eyes
Danube (Anniversary Song)

I like them with the Latin rhymes rather than the flat 4 Gypsy Jazz rhythm. My pompe always has a bit more swing.

Django fake book charts are important and the way it needs to be with charts that relate to fake books. Generally, when you see DFB next to a chart, you know that this will have the same arrangement and chords as the book. Manny situations only one musician ,The one playing the melody will actually have the Django fake book chart. So it’s important that chord players rhythm section have the same chords and arrangement. This is not always the case with other fake and real books on IReal Pro
